Director Hubertus Hoffmann wrote the script for LOVE IS TOLERANCE – TOLERANCE IS LOVE. The Zeitgeist film starts with recalling the dark past and compels people to contain the forces of darkness, hate, and extremism in a world of diversity:

Our world suffers from many forms of hate-propaganda, violence, and terror – even at home.
Extremists from different backgrounds target other religions, social minorities, and races.
Some promote hate through words. While others are ready to kill. They try to turn us against each other.

The Nazi movement promoted a dictatorship of white supremacists – the Arians. In just a few years, Adolf Hitler and his totalitarian Nazi movement turned Germany from love to hate. From tolerance to intolerance. From peace to war. From a vibrant democracy to a brutal dictatorship.
More than 50 million people died in World War II. 6 million were Jews murdered in concentration camps
In reaction to the horrors of World War II, the United Nations, based in New York City, designed Codes of Tolerance:
‘The recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom justice and peace in the world’
