Director Hubertus Hoffmann wrote the script for LOVE IS TOLERANCE – TOLERANCE IS LOVE. At the beginning the Zeitgeist film remembers the dark past and demands to contain the forces of darkness, hate and extremism in a world of diversity:
‘The Forces of Darkness. Enemies of Tolerance. Devils of Inhumanity. Most people killed, “In the name of Allah” live in Muslim nations, and are Muslims themselves.
Our world suffers from many forms of hate-propaganda, violence and terror – even at home.
Extremists from different backgrounds target other religions, social minorities and races.
Some promote hate through words. While others are ready to kill. They try to turn us against each other.
Can we stop them? How can we all make tolerance great again?
Follow us on a world-wide search for the golden nuggets of tolerance on our beautiful planet earth.
How can all of us live in peace in our Global Village of Diversity?
The Nazi movement promoted a dictatorship of white supremacists – the Arians. In just a few years, Adolf Hitler and his totalitarian Nazi movement turned Germany: From Love to Hate. From Tolerance to Intolerance. From Peace to War. From a vibrant democracy to a brutal dictatorship.
More than 50 million people died in World War II. 6 million were Jews, murdered in concentration camps
In reaction to the horrors of World War II, the United Nations, based in New York City, designed Codes of Tolerance:
‘The recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom justice and peace in the world’ – The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Is the dark Ghost of Intolerance again on the world stage?
There is even a struggle for tolerance in America, the super-power of the Free World.
How much do black lives matter? Or the dignity of Muslims, Jews or Mexicans, in God’s chosen country?
Haven’t we learned from Germany’s mistakes of the 1930’s to stop hate-propaganda before it’s too late?
Will the new radicals dictate a dark world order upon us promoting nationalism, egoism, extremism, suspicion of other religions, minorities and races ?
