Malala: Important What Kind of Education We Give Our Children

We meet young Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan during her Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo and asked her, “How can we promote tolerance?” In LOVE IS TOLERANCE – TOLERANCE IS LOVE, she tells us:

“It is important what kind of eduction we give our children. When you open the school books, you read totally racists or negative responses to other religions or cultures. We need to look at the education system, and what kind of educations we give and teach our children. It is important we focus on this.”

The Pakistani activist for female education wants to activate everybody:

“Everybody can play a role in it, as well the media. Sometimes we think just the politicians or big companies can do something. No, we all have to step in.'”

“The parents are important. They should tell their children – you are all equal, no matter what your religion or language is. You all are equal, you all are children.”
